<image:caption>It’s essential for us that our clients get personalized care. Rather than do things the typical way, we’ve designed our approach around meeting each client’s needs. Sometimes this looks like traditional psychotherapy, and other times it looks like a mosaic of therapeutic methods. <image:caption>she / her PSYCHOTHERAPY • TRAUMA THERAPY • SOMATIC THERAPY • EMDR • BRAINSPOTTING • REIKI • PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION • CLINICAL SUPERVISION WORKS WITH TEENS & ADULTS Hi, I’m Dr. Bree Shelby—licensed clinical psychologist in Kentucky and founder of Integrative Psychological Services. I’ve been practicing since 2017, specializing in trauma and the ways our experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. My work draws from EMDR, TF-CBT, Internal Family Systems, psychodrama, and other experiential approaches, alongside somatic therapies like Somatic Experiencing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples, and I also lead groups and intensives with Onsite Workshops in Tennessee. What I believe most about therapy is this: Healing doesn’t happen because someone gives you the “right” insight or all the answers. It happens when you are met—fully, honestly, and without judgment—right where you are - and cared for anyway. My intention is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or be anything other than human. A space where you are seen, heard, and accepted… and where we can gently begin to understand your story, your patterns, and your pain—together. You show up as you are. I’ll meet you there. Dr. Shelby is not currently accepting new clients. She is located at the Downtown office. To connect with Dr. Shelby, email her at: drbree@integrativepsychky.com</image:caption>

<image:caption>CLINICIAN HUMANISTIC/INTERPERSONAL THERAPY • PSYCHODYNAMIC THERAPY • TF-CBT • EXISTENTIAL THERAPY • HARM REDUCTION APPROACH • COMPASSIONATE INQUIRY • PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT WORKS WITH TEENS AND ADULTS I am so glad you are here! I am Leslie Donner, a Licensed Psychological Practitioner with over two decades of experience in treating folks from all walks of life. I obtained my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University in 2003 and spent many years teaching in higher ed along with managing contracts with various schools, hospitals and other facilities that focus on mental health and assessment. After gaining some street cred by just living life, I am embracing my first love of doing therapy in an environment that shares my commitment to working with everyone, but especially those who have been marginalized in society. While I work primarily with teens and adult women, I do have a particular desire to work with mothers. As a mom of three young kids, I want you to know we can make this work. Even if it's telehealth from the carpool line or with your kids sitting around you from home, I understand the realities of life and will use these types of opportunities to enrich your learning and growth. I do have a great deal of experience working with those with chronic health problems, body image disturbance, eating and weight issues as well as behavioral addictions. I will challenge you, but I also understand that immediate change or leaving difficult situations is not always practical or even possible. Unconventional. That is my approach. Freud meets Buddha with a touch of Julia Sugarbaker. I like to challenge traditional notions of what therapy should look like. We might spend our time describing the source of your angst with 90s song lyrics. Or we might use the tenets of great philosophers to retool your interpretation of events around you. We will investigate the patterns in your life together, get to the root and find new systems that work better. If we can find the meaning in the suffering, we can often remove the suffering. And if we can't find meaning, perhaps we can at least find humor! Leslie is not currently accepting new clients. She is located at the Lone Oak office. <image:caption>CLINICIAN PSYCHOTHERAPY • TRAUMA THERAPY • SOMATIC THERAPY • CBT• AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION AND TREATMENT • NEURODIVERGENT DISORDERS WORKS WITH CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a licensed psychological associate in Kentucky, graduated from Capella University with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and have been with Integrative since the beginning of my internship in 2022. In therapy, I take an integrative approach, meaning I blend techniques from different forms of therapy, as I know we are all different people with different needs. I’m trained in and have experience with trauma-focused modalities, somatic therapy, and strengths-based approaches to working with autism spectrum disorder. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and provide autism assessments for these age ranges. We are all imperfectly human, and I believe our pasts and present work together to make us who we are today. As a therapist, I am in this with you. I want to stand by and support you through the chaos and the harmony, the dark and the light. You are important and your voice matters, and I will accept you exactly as you are. <image:title>Team - Juanya’ Moss, LPCA he/him CLINICIAN WORKS WITH CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS PSYCHOTHERAPY • CBT • MINDFULNESS • SOLUTION-FOCUSED• PERSON-CENTERED• MUSIC THERAPY• BEHAVIORAL THERAPY My name is Juanya Moss (pronounced Wan-Yay). I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindsey Wilson College in 2023 with a Master of Education and Counseling. I am a newly Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA). I have experience working with individuals, of various ages, with acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Over the past 10 years, I've assisted in the nursing care of geriatrics with disabilities such as Sundowners, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other severe mental health disorders related to aging. Recently, I gained Clinical experience as a Counseling Intake Specialist. While working as an Intake Specialist, I collaborated with clients of ages ranging from five to 80. Although I have worked in healthcare for quite some time now, this is my first role as a Clinical Therapist. I am very grateful for this employment opportunity and the opportunity to learn more about the mental health field; through continued practice and having the support of my new colleagues. Just as I will show up flaws and all, I want you to do the same when you step into my office. I'm not as put together as my sense of fashion may tell you. And I don't expect you to be either. We're human. I can't guarantee that I will have all the answers. But throughout our time spent in therapy, we will work to find them. The space we hold together will always be safe. I invite you to come exactly as you are. When you step into my office, you can remove the mask you put on before you left home. You can let your hair down. You can take your shoes off. Whatever you need to do to make my house feel like your home. Because I recognize that the world isn't always going to always let you be so free. Especially if you stand within the margins like myself. You'll never have to worry about being judged around me. My goal as a Therapist is to provide my clients with a safe, free space to sing, dance, cry, and heal as much as they need to. Together, we can work towards being better versions of ourselves. We can grow to be kinder. To be more self-loving. To become more forgiving. All you need is one person to believe that you can. If no one else does, I do. Amid adversity, be reminded that a flower managed to grow between a crack in the concrete. Juanya’ is accepting new clients. He is located at the Downtown office. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected—to yourself and the life you want to create. I’m passionate about helping you discover your strength and resilience. I utilize an integrative, person-centered approach to tailor each session to your specific needs. I integrate DBT and ACT to help you manage intense emotions and increase acceptance, alongside CBT techniques to help shift unhelpful thought patterns. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a powerful therapeutic approach that reprocesses traumatic memories to reduce emotional charge. My specialty is in supporting individuals who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, and transitional phases of life. I work primarily with pre-teens, teens, adults, young parents, LGBTQIA+, front-line workers, and first responders. During my career I have furthered my education and specialization to become a Certified First Responder Associate (CFRA). I have a passion for working with first responders, as well as their families. I recognize the unique and often unseen pressures that come with fire service, EMS, law enforcement, and dispatch. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and deep understanding is crucial. Many clients describe feeling overwhelmed when they first come to therapy. I work with them to create a safe, supportive space where they can explore their emotions. I am deeply committed to providing a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported. In my office you will find a place where you can come as you are without limitations. Emma is accepting new clients. She is located at the Downtown office. My therapeutic interest lies with perinatal and postpartum mothers and fathers. I have a passion to work with people experiencing the hardships of infertility, miscarriage, late-term loss, infant loss, loss of children at any age, NICU life, and navigating the transitions of parenthood. Therapy with me is personalized, collaborative, flexible, and focused on empowerment and expression so that you can feel confident about the steps you're taking! I have been practicing in mental health since 2022 and have experience working with children of all ages, as well as adults. As a fellow Neurodivergent friend, I specialize in working with (child & adult) ADHD and have notable experience working with children and school-related concerns. <image:caption>she/her CLINICAL INTERN WORKS WITH CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS Hi! My name is Koryn and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. I am grateful to be at Integrative Psychological Services as an intern to further my learning. Before entering the counseling field, I studied the arts and received my Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Ceramics with a minor in Horticulture. I believe that art, like therapy, invites us to peel back our layers and explore ourselves deeper. I have a great appreciation for creative expression as a form of emotional processing and self transformation. In addition to my background in the arts, I am a certified 200-hour yoga teacher. Yoga has been a grounding force in my life and I am passionate about its ability to connect us with ourselves. I value integrating somatic awareness, breathwork, and mindfulness into the healing process when it fits. Yoga offers an opportunity to cultivate presence and compassion in our lives; by bringing these qualities to our healing journeys we can approach ourselves with kindness and curiosity. I would love to intertwine these modalities of healing with evidence based therapies to serve clients and help them navigate their inner landscapes. My approach to therapy is person-centered, honoring the holistic and creative aspects of the human experience. Whether through talk therapy, mindfulness, movement, or creative expression, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where your authentic self can feel seen, heard, and empowered. <image:caption>he/him DOCTORAL CLINICAL INTERN WORKS WITH CHILDREN AND TEENS Hi, my name is Tyler! I am a Clinical Psychology PhD student at Walden University and a Clinical Practicum Intern. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Austin Peay State University in 2016 and my master’s degree in developmental psychology from Walden in 2023. These academic experiences provided me with a strong foundation in understanding how children, adolescents, and families grow and adapt across different stages of life. Clinically, I have worked extensively with individuals on the autism spectrum, supporting both clients and families as they navigate the unique challenges and strengths of neurodiversity. In addition, I have supported children and teens struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and mood-related difficulties. My background in crisis counseling and psychological assessment has strengthened my ability to respond to immediate needs while fostering long-term resilience and growth. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a focus on helping clients identify and reframe thought patterns that shape emotions and behaviors. I also integrate developmental psychology, family systems perspectives, and somatic awareness to create an approach that is flexible and tailored to each client’s needs. When working with children and teens, I emphasize creativity, adaptability, and building a safe environment where they feel supported and understood. I strive to meet each client where they are, equipping them with tools to manage emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence. At the core of my philosophy is the belief that every individual holds immeasurable value and the capacity for growth. Looking forward, I am committed to deepening my expertise in trauma-focused therapies, autism interventions, and advanced assessment. My research interests focus on the intersections of autism, depression, and suicide risk in young adults, with the goal of contributing both to academic knowledge and to practical, community-based solutions. I plan to pursue training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches to further expand my skills. Ultimately, I aim to become a well-rounded clinician and researcher who bridges science with practice, advocates for vulnerable populations, and helps children, adolescents, and families thrive.
